Class 10 boards: the 3-month plan our teachers use
Stoodant team · Published 2 November 2026
Class 10 is the first big exam of a child's life, and the last three months decide a lot. At Stoodant our teachers have been toppers themselves, so they know what actually works: a calm plan, the right practice, and enough rest. Here is the plan they follow with their students.
Month 1: finish and fix
- Finish any chapter that was rushed in school.
- Find the two weakest chapters in each subject and fix one every week.
- Make one page of notes per chapter: formulas, definitions, dates and diagrams.
Month 2: practise the way the paper is set
- One timed sample paper per subject, every week.
- Plenty of case-study and competency-based questions, which now carry many marks.
- After every paper, note why each mark was lost, not just the score.
Month 3: revise and rest
- Revise from the one-page notes, not the whole textbook.
- Re-solve every question that went wrong in month 2.
- Keep sleep regular. A rested mind scores more than a tired one.
Exam-day habits
- Read the whole paper first and start with what you know best.
- Show working and diagrams: step marks add up.
- Keep ten minutes at the end to check answers and question numbers.
Beyond the boards: choosing what comes next
After Class 10 comes the first real career choice: Science, Commerce or Humanities. Stoodant teachers have walked these paths themselves, into medicine, civil services and management, so they can tell your child what each road really looks like.
